I was in Memphis this past weekend and thought they were the second best team in Memphis on Saturday.

 

Arlington is doing good things but its recent success in Region 8 has to be tempered by the fact that in the last two years the region has sent 112 wrestlers to Franklin to compete at states and has produced one state placer (Nathan Enzor, 6th, Arlington 2015).  Quite simply it's a weak region, so I would expect any strong team to dominate there...which Arlington has clearly done.  I expect Arlington has 4 guys with realistic chances to place, but things would have to break right in the brackets for all but Ray Hardin who I think has to have a bad tournament to not place.  As for CBHS, well, again if one is going to compare the two squads based on the weekend's performances, one has to take into account the level of competition.  My feeling is that CBHS is still a stronger program at this point but that may change in the coming years if the Tigers can maintain a good pipeline of talent coming up from it's youth program and from Elite Wrestling Academy.

Well put. I like Arlington they are fun to watch. And I have 4 or 5 guys right there on the cusp of medaling. It's very possible.

Everyone relax on this... Just because your boy isn't listed doesn't mean he doesn't have a shot.  These are people's predictions.  We didn't have a single boy predicted to medal last year and we brought home 3.  Matches have to be wrestled before medals are given.
