Middleton vs. Dresden

Who goes to Murfreesboro? Any ideas from someone who has seen both teams play?

Going to be a dog fight. Middleton a slight favorite because they will be home. Dresden can beat these guys though. Dresden kinda run out of gas on GC tonight. But still a team that could make it to the Boro and make some noise.

Pulling for Dresden but if they turn the ball over like last night it could get ugly. If it wasn't for Gallimore we would've lost by 15 last night.

I thought the Gallimore kid was phenomenal. GC played well and hit some money shots too. Dresden had some TO's late that cost them. Dresden's press the 1st half was ineffective and was the their demise, IMO. GC is the last team you want to try to out condition. If I was Dresden I would have 2 or 3 defenses against Middleton and hoped that one of them slowed them down. Middleton's bread and butter is their down low game and I would attack the rim and hope they would get in foul trouble. But I do think Dresden has a shot. If they play as well as they did last night, they can beat them.

Dresden is a good team, no doubt, and anyone has a chance at the stage of the game; however, Middleton will win at home by 10.

Whats the difference in Dresden team last year than this year? We (Middleton) did beat them last year to go to state

More well rounded this year. They don't really rely on any one kid. Last night they were something ridiculous from the floor. I wanna say 12/16 in first half from inside the arc

We played them twice and we were down 8 at their place with 2 minutes left and come back in OT to beat them the first game of the year. Now we missed like 17 FT's that night, but they have just gotten better. They pressed us the 1st half last night and I think it took a toll on them. We beat them last year by 10 or so too in the region finals but they are a well coached good fundamental team. Middleton better be ready. They will not lay down.

Middleton by 10+. Too much size, speed and athleticism. Middleton will win state again unless There's a huge upset or a team from middle or east tn that can beat them.

You guys are nuts! Middleton will win by 20 plus. Dresden scored a lot of baskets down low last night. Most were uncontested. They will all be contested at Middleton. The threes better be falling in abundance to even be in the game.
