Clay Co vs Hampton

Best chance is to have Key shoot but that is easier said then done. He does shoot 45% from the 3 and 65% from the field. He gets alot of his points from rebounds, put backs, and steals off fast breaks. This should be a good first round game and I am excited to see it.

Don't forget outside of Key and Maybry they do have mostly role players however Russell, Peyton Smith, and Jon Wayne all shoot the 3 very well. They didn't have the best game against MC but each one of these 3 have stepped up and had big games throughout the year.

How do they handle pressure D

Fine I would assume, they have beat 3 AAA teams including Sevier County who pressed the entire game while playing aggressive D. Playing man would probably be the worse thing you could do with Key. Unless you just have an absolute stud on D then man would be to worrisome with foul trouble.

I've seen Sevier play....We have the defenders...we shall see...Thanks Sho!

See you in the glass house as it should be fun to see. That place is always tough to play for High School kids. Clay lost to GCA by 1 last year on a last second shot. Always low scoring.

Send me personal message and I send u my number. Anything to help coby out more than happy to help.

Clay is well coached team. Key hard to control. The kid can play but thought Mc had 2nd best player on the floor last night. 13 for clay a lot better on defense than I thought he would be. Rest of team are just spot up shooters. They can shoot but not very big. Should be a great game. We will be there

Clay County and Hampton are both rich in basketball tradition but I can't ever remember playing them. Does anyone know? Have the two schools ever met?

Also, I wasn't aware that the TSSAA had went back to a completely blind draw. I thought Mitchell and BTW (from the same region) and Nashville Christian and Middle Tennessee Christian (from same region) would have to be in opposite brackets. Funny, it worked out that way anyway.

I think game will be a lot closer than that. Mc gave clay all they wanted last night and just came up a little short. Clay Co has one great player and he will take them as far as he can. We just didn't have anyone to guard him. He had 11 rebounds but 6 of those came off missed free throws. The big kid blocked a lot of shots and played well. I think it hurts clay when they play team with bigger guards. I think u can post up the other 3 players on clays team.

    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
