I think Clarkrange can do some real damage this year. Really looking forward to see what all they do.

I understand that Clarkrange got Stone Memorial's best player, a guard. They'll be the favorite. Then Jackson County got a 6'1" player from Shelbyville and another transfer. The coaches voted Clarkrange #1, Pickett Co #2, Jackson Co #3, Clay Co #4 and Monterey #5. I think Clay Co will be much improved over last year.

If I remember right, they went undefeated in summer team camp against some good teams...Good talent and good coaching goes a long ways in Single A ball..

The tournament should be called the South Greene invitational!  I don't think they started a Senior last year and Lamb is back for her Junior, yes Junior year and is surrounded by underclassmen.  I look for them to repeat as champs this year!

Should be a great season as always in the District 7A!  I look forward to watching some good ball games this year and seeing all my friends

Congratulations to Pickett County beating a good AAA Cookeville 61-52. PC led by 10-12 most of the game but got into severe foul trouble early. After Cookeville cut it to 4 late in the 3rd quarter with several PC starters out, PC pulled away for the win.

Single A will be fun this year. There are always upsets !! Nothing is guaranteed, even for South Greene.

 Clarkrange got A player from Stone. However, Stone's best player put up 29 points in their recent win over Clarkrange.
