As with many stories of this kind, not all the details are included, so don't condemn too harshly unless you know the whole story.

What probably doesn't help matters, in the eyes of TSSAA, was the incident against Sevier County at the Smoky Mountain Cup a few weeks ago. Coach Correa and his team just walked off the pitch with close to 30 minutes left in the match. From what I understand, he was unhappy with the way the game was being officiated. The incident resulted in a $500 TSSAA fine for unsportsmanlike conduct.

I can't condemn....things get heated but it is a "whoa" kinda wake-up moment for everyone about the fines and punishment the TSSAA can exact when it has a mind to....

Coaches are the first line of defense with sportsmanship. If players aren't led by example, not drilled on the importance of it and the privilege they have in being able to play, anything can happen. You have to be willing as a coach to address any team problem and any player no matter how important that player may be to your program. Great coaches head off potential problems in constructive ways and don't let them linger.
