Maryville State Champions

Am I hearing correctly that Maryville has had to vacate some district wins for player ineligibility? I heard that one of the two players who transferred from Bearden was deemed ineligible to play.

I meant wasting four years playing high school at Anderson County when she could have played four years of high school with a coach like Jay Hames. HS is important, that is why Jay is sharing his time at Maryville.

I would speculate that AC didn't really give much thought to beating Maryville, in that they usually beat Maryville. Has Maryville ever even won a District? Why people would post something stupid like that on a bulletin board against a better team that they knew they had to play is not to smart.

Maryville lost in district semi's to HVA.

And Anderson County is playing Farragut in the regions! Maryville had all of the talent and still failed to make it out of District. Has Maryville ever even been to a Regional?

What a joke thread. Maryville has 4 division one players and can't make it out of district? And why would you trash Anderson of all schools. They may be a small rural school but when they get pumped it's like a knife fight. We hate playing them even in play days. When they have a good team they go insane, when they have a bad team they scream louder. I bet Maryville got an earful.

I've said before, with all the studs Brentwood has plus what they have in their middle school program, Brentwood could realistically win the next 3-5 state championships.  That system is loaded with talent.
