Not a beatdown. Unlike some teams they know when to let up. not sure yet if they have enough for CCS, Notre Dame, or Signal but it's a lot stronger team than in past years, when 2 or 3 did most of the scoring. This group has good scoring from one of their seniors and one junior, good leadership and defense from older players, but with 7/9 scorers so far in 9th and 10th they're building for future seasons.Most have played for several years, not just starting in 9th like some in some past seasons. Tyner game was a wake-up. Lots of shots but just 1 went in.

Since Middle Valley Magic retired, I will throw out this top 10:

 

1) CCS - team to beat state-wide in A/AA

2) Baylor - can't wait until next year when they move to the newly created Division III

3) GPS - they will get the eyeball test this weekend

4) Notre Dame - very balanced, final record might be 5-5-5 going into playoffs

5) East Hamilton - Coach Hill finally has some depth

6) Walker Valley

7) Boyd

8) Cleveland

9) McMinn Central

10) Sequatchie County - their average margin of victory in pre-season is 16

McMinn County and WV both beat East Hamilton this week. And WV beat McMinn County on PKs in overtime. First time WV has beaten them during regular season as well as first time WV beat EH during regular season.

The girl from CCS that scored the 2nd goal had one of the best strikes I have seen in a big game like that in a while.  It was an amazing goal.

3-0 Signal over Sequatchie. 0-0 half. Signal scored 2 early in second half and got one more with about a minute left.

no hurt here; its only the Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Assemblys 2nd win over theND's Lady Irish in the Last 13 outings...we cant win them all; that Head Master at CCS will b callin ND again wanting to have meetings about us mistreating yall
