If the fire your coach, who are they going to get to work over there nununu? How many coaches have yall had the last 6-7 years anyway? Nobody wants  to go to LA now.

Best of luck to Coach McPhail on his health after resigning from HL. Always was a great man to converse with & always kept the course despite a very challenging situation at HL.

I believe they need someone like you coach. Way too many coaching transitions for those young men there. I still think running off Coach Woodward was the worst decision they could have ever made there

I totally agree with your statement. I personally don’t know the coach, haven’t been at the school in 2 yrs now. I get info from players and staff. I didn’t want to say this before,and someone mentioned it. But Mike Woodward ran a tight ship, and this would have never happened under his watch. There are a number of assistant coaches in Metro, that I think would do well in the position, there is still hope, although it will take a few years to get a culture of winning. They have won 5 games in the last 6 years, it’s going to take some work, and allowing someone to establish themselves

I saw Hunters Lane on film against Cheatham County, Sycamore, and Whites Creek.  They are absolutely terrible.  They didn't block a soul.  They couldn't execute a snap or a handoff.  I've seen 11-12 year old teams in Joelton who could have beaten them.  It's sad because I remember 10 years ago (2008) watching Hunters Lane play Lipscomb in the jamboree at Maplewood.  They were big, athletic, and played with a purpose.  The location is ideal and the facilities aren't terrible.  The right coach could come in over there and win if the kids bought in and came out to play.

 the downfall of antioch started when shawn joseph took over metro schools. he brought in keiva wiley as principal and her short tenure resulted in the systematic tearing down of everyting good at antioch.  it is a shame that someone as unqualified, idiotic... could have the disastrous impact. her reach has now impacted overton because the guy she hired to replace wood has absolutley no control or anything else that a football coach needs... she had no reason to fire wood who won 3 games in his first year back. this after i believe antioch had lost around 15 games in a row including an 0-11 campaign the year before.
