Humboldt plays union city this Tuesday for the number 1 spot in district 14A, game will be played at Humboldt! Humboldt needs to come out & dictate the game and continue to play good defense. Humboldt needs to make Parker earn every basket & not let him have open looks! If, Humboldt comes to play, they will win!!

Weddle had a pretty good tourney in NC including a 26 point game...UC will be getting a couple players back from suspension to start the new year...Should be another intense game...

Humboldt will also be getting two (2) players back from football injuries, a center (Bennett) that started last year & back-up guard (Brown) who was starting QB!

I'm a Humboldt fan, but hate to hear of any kid being injured. Praying for a full recovery for them.

Weddle will be back Friday.  He is not out for the season.  Also, win or loose, Union City has played in two different National events over Thanksgiving and Christmas as Humboldt did at Poplar Bluff.  The caliber players you play in those tournaments prepare you in games like the Humboldt / Union City game.  Both have already played against teams as good as any state champion Tennessee will serve up this year or any year.  Both teams are well prepared for the second half of the season in 2017.

UC 31-24 at half, Humboldt can't hit nothing & needs to come out the second half motivated or UC will leave with a win!
