1. Rossview

2. Clarksville

3. Henry County

4. Kenwood

5. Springfield

6. Montgomery Central

Does anything change in District 10AAA this year,  Rossview, CLarksville and Henry County have been the only real challengers for the district over the last 4 years.   3 schools have new coaches,  how does it shake out this year.   Any word on any of the schools and what they did over the summer.

My picks this year

1. Rossview   Rippy should have a strong season

2.  Henry County  Lost point guard and leading scorer

3.  Clarksville   Lost their horse

4.  Springfield   (will they continue to climb closer)

5.  Norhteast  (very good young talent)

6.  Northwest  (new coach)

7.  Kenwood  (new coach, lost their 2 best players)

8.  Mont Central   (new coach, lost several seniors)

9.  West Creek  (new coach, lost their best player and scorer)

Should be a little more interesting this year.  Look for middle of the pack teams to maybe sneak an upset on the top 3 somewhere during the season.

What brings you to that prediction?  Are some of the teams in the middle of the pack or are the top 3 falling off?

I think the rest are improving enough and the top 3 might slip a game or two.  But, who knows.  

Springfield only lost one Senior and has Senior PG and 7 Juniors returning- all who started at some point last year.

After the first half and a couple more games,

1. Rossview is the top team, undefeated in district play

2.  Henry County  Potential is there, will they find a way to finish

3. Northwest,  young and athletic, a dangerous team in the toutrnament

4. Springfield,  playing well, struggling to score.

5.  Clarksville,  cant seem to find an identity

6.  Northeast  young and athletic, could surprise some folks down the stretch

7. Kenwood, fundamentally struggling

8.  West Creek, athletic but struggle to score and take care of the ball

9.  Montgomery Central     nowhere to go but up

Predictions?

Rossview's district to lose.  They are also the only team with a chance to win a Region Tournament game, which has been the case for a while now.  Henry County has enough to keep it competitive with Rossview and stay attached in a first round Region game, but they don't have enough to win, in my opinion.

Agreed that Rossview is the best team to this point in the district.  However, the for a while now puzzles me,  HC has beaten Rossview 4 of the last 6 meetings.

Wasn’t in regards to Henry County’s chances at beating Rossview. It was in regards to the odds of winning a first round Region Tournament game. They have been the only team consistently doing that the past few years.
