I'm confused about all the aliases.  So dawgs, larah, and strings are all the same person and he/she is supposedly an NCS fan?

From what I've gathered Yes. Possible reason is a close relative may or may not have been a player who left due to an issue but otherwise had a stellar career at NCS, and may or may not have a close relative who may or may not be associated with a sec school which may have upset another sec school last week................I believe the anger is a little mis directed. NCS has to enforce the rules evenly and without regard to past or future athletic performance.

Having said that.......what a great story on Coach Rice and his sons! I got teary eyed thinking about how proud he has got to be of his family and all of the great memories they have created.

Thank you.  Up to speed.

That's kinda what I was thinking. The only part I can see such a strong reaction by the NCS fans was if it was false because it painted the kid in a bad light.

Good luck to both teams for the game to be injury free.

And to to y'all coming down to game. Everybody be safe! The deer are stirring!

Funny thing is, ole coach Rice still runs some scout team quarterback in practice. Always has but has slowed down of late. A couple of years ago, he lost a bet with his players and he padded up and ran gasers with the team. He's great motivator.

???????????  I can assure you the person with the aliases is not a relative of the player.  People who are not in the know should remain silent. It serves no purpose. Everything you said is not true except for the part about Coach Rice and his sons.

Unless you're talking about some other player and a different situation.

    • Yes. I have seen that cause problems. In my last coaching stop, if a coach resigned they got them into another building. Sometimes the very next day. Welcome.
    • Agree. The man literally sacrificed time, moments, memories you can't get back with his own family for every single athlete at that school. (and many others) To those that continue to be negative about him and continue to bring him up; He's been loyal, hardworking and just his entire coaching career. Ask anyone that actually has a leg to stand on in regard to Coach.
    • Egotistical? That's a new one.  It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.

    • Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart.
