Carguy it was great to meet you tonight, I apologize for having to cut our conversation short, I had some family issues pop up that I had to deal with. Maybe we will meet up again and finish talking about football in person.

I agree, it wasn't all WC playing bad, NCS caused a lot of the havoc. It was a very good 1a playoff football game to watch. I thought overall the refs did a good job, they could have called several penalties on both teams that they didn't. WC also had a td removed when Rice through an interception then ran the NCS player down and took the ball from him and run it 60 yards for a td only to be called back on a block in the back penalty 30 yards away from the ball, but it was the right call just hate to see that when it has no effect on the play. Hats off to NCS, great program and much respect from WC!

Certainly wasn't 30 yards away. He hit #28 in the back about a second after Rice took the ball away. Nonetheless, a great play by Rice, and a great WC team. Birchette is the real deal. Can't wait to see y'all whoop on dresden next week.

I plan on attending the WC-Dresden game and feel like it's going to be a great game, I don't personally think WC is going to whoop  up on Dresden as you say

He is a Special Player. Talked to my son after the game and he also mentioned that he was a class act on the field. Look forward to seeing him play on Saturday's somewhere. Hopefully see him and my son square off again. #28.

I don't think 1A was down .I think the best 2 teams from this area are meeting in what should be a great game .I'm sure the South Pittsburg region will be a great game as well.

Wish it was zoomed in, but until we can get one from the camera crews, here is a clip of the INT and subsequent takeaway by Rice--you just had to be there--most bizarre play I've ever seen in a game!

I stated on another thread how play calling has been an issue for us at times. I am on the inside and maybe can't see the forest because of the trees. Just curious from the WC perspective, did you all feel like we got away from the run game and threw it way to much? I thought our backs were having success.
