MartianMan
Cleveland added a good coach and has already matched last year's win total. No they may not beat Bradley but will probably be vastly improved. Improved who knows, good coach yes, real good some say. A below average Polk county win, then a sub-par single A Tellico win that Tellico led the whole game in the Cleveland gym is not what I call improved. What has improved is scheduling. He will get more out of his players but is light years behind our bears. Edited November 26, 2016 by MartianMan
anotherback
I know the one girl came from EH after her 8 th grade year. Was at the gym when she put on a show against the Bradley team she transferred to the next month but I heard they have another transfer. Maybe from Clarksville area? Does anyone know what position, grade , when did she move here? Does she start for them ?
Indian
Sophomore guard transfered from Clarksville. Not sure if starting but apparently another really good player.

With the player movement in Bradley County you never know what the rosters will be like. I'd say Cleveland will be competitive in the district this year. I know having them and WV down would obviously benefit the Bearettes. Edited November 26, 2016 by Indian
Dadof23
I agree that Hamilton Heights should not be in the discussion but to say that Bradley follows the rules is laughable. They would be average without Howard and her cousin (both openly recruited). I wonder how many other players in their rotation didn't come through a Bradley Central feeder school. RECRUITING is illegal and therefor against the rules. As for Cleveland they will finish anywhere from 4-6 in the district and their win/loss record will be improved due to scheduling. You're talking out of your crack. Bradley doesn't have to recruit in Basketball or Wrestling. You sound just a tad salty.
Dadof23
I see Cleveland lost to a below average Lenoir City team. Like I said, long way to go.

Like I said, long way to go.Cleveland should have never been brought up in a thread talking about good girls teams. I don't know why they were brought up in this thread. Maybe, possibly in 2-3 years, but not this year for sure.
clevelandblueraiderfan
Cleveland has a very long way to go, very very long. Not a good team at all, but they play hard. Hopefully can get it turned around in a few years. Will be lucky to make it out of the district tournament. celtic33
Hamilton Heights and Bradley Central will be very strong boasting some of the best talent in the state. Sources say HH could be a top 20 nationally ranked team this year. 2016 had a great class of young ladies that have moved on to the next level from the Chatt area. It will be interesting to see who emerges this year. Just sayin'. If all of us could allow any player to come into our program then yes we could all be GREAT!!! This an All-star team w/o restrictions from any state organization. So yes they are talented but let's be fair. This team would make any bad coach look good. Again any TSSAA school should not schedule or play HH at any time. What do you hope to gain? Get better? Thats crap, then why dont TSSAA let high schools play travel teams? Its the same thing. HH is just a school that dont have ANY rules therefore its basically a travel team. They cherry pick the local schools for the best players. Play by the rules or dont play.
