johndeere
Yeah, that can be a killer, but I think the point a lot of people have is that a school the size of DB should have enough depth to not miss a beat. But I just don't think that's the case. If you had been there, you would know that they didn't. But the first string defense couldn't stop a spastic bowel. Pudding
Maybe, just maybe, Kingsport just doesn't have the talent to compete outside of upper northeast Tennessee. Maybe your little Johnnys just aren't that good. Is it even conceivable?

Is it even conceivable? One problem with that thought.Kingsports little Johnnys handled SH when they were in the 7th 8th and 9th but have lost several straight at the varsity level now.two straight Robinson teams alone .You don't have to leave NET to see there is a problem somewhere

You need to open your mind a little. Pay attention in class.
RidgeofOaks
DB's starting QB went down in the middle of the game with William Blount. Not saying that's why they lost, but surely didn't help. Also, WB played by far their best game of the season up in Kingsport. So I guess that was just bad luck for DB. We played like shat otherwise. maroonpride
The 8th grade bunch appears to be pretty good. Be interested to see how they're handled at the high school level over the next few years. http://www.timesnews.net/Sports/2016/10/05/Sevier-claims-city-Middle-7-football-titles.html?ci=content&lp=11&p=1 http://www.timesnews.net/Community/2016/12/01/Boys-and-Girls-Club-of-Kingsport-14u-football-team-has-outstanding-season.html?ci=stream&lp=3&p=

Look at this years team. A quarter of those boys will quit or transfer before they ever get to varsity.
