TSSAA BlueCross Bowl Contract Renewed

My son lives in a town 35 miles north of Austin, population about 1,400. The local high school has 325 students, with about 50 kids in the football program. Their stadium seats nearly 4K and they fill it pretty much every home game.

 

Football is a different animal in Texas.

 

And don't forget about Shiner Bock.

If the TSSAA were looking to make the event/weekend as special as possible for all involved in the state championships, the games should be at Vanderbilt. Wonder when Nashville last put in a bid (?).
