We didn't have to look for one, he was already in place and CRB kept him in the same position. Coach Bradley has added a few really good assistants on the defensive side of the ball, as well. Looks like a solid staff.

Oh ok. I dont know much about the situation at GCA. I just know that Bradley always had great offenses at CAK, but his defenses always gave up lots of points. If what you say is true yall should be solid.

No ill will intended, just getting some information to you. Some of those CAK defenses were hard core, some of them needed the offense to bail them out. Hopefully, we can play a little more solid on that side of the ball. In the end, players need to be in the right position and then make the plays. I have no doubt that they will be in the correct position, just have to execute. Thanks for sharing some thoughts about the Rams.

Sometimes great offenses put pressure on the defense...if you score quickly, just means more time on the field for the defense, and less rest.

Oh no I loved the helmets. Just tell them not to mess with the hamburgers at the concession stand and I'll deal with the rest.

New uniforms this year Barn. New helmets too. I think you'll like what you see. Going to be fun watching this team find their way in the new system. It starts today with 7 on 7.

Karns @ Karns tonight 5pm...wooooooo!!

Also 7-on-7 at South Doyle this morning and Northview Academy tomorrow at GCA in the morning......should give the coaches a LOT of film to teach and correct as needed. It will be huge for the defensive backfield for sure.

I think one of the most encouraging things so far is that I've never seen a more organized, communicative coaching staff in my history as an athlete parent. Now, if they can just get the boys to be in the places they're supposed to be, when they're supposed to be there.....we'll start to figure that out in a few weeks I imagine. It is an exciting time to be a football parent in Ram country!

Stylin's avatar is still much prettier than yours! Wooooooooooo!!!!!! :D

And, yes, I changed my name......that number thing has been wrong for so long. I finally yapped enough on here to be able to change it. It's a NEW DAY in Ram Country! I thought it was a fitting time to get it done. Man, I can't wait for the season to get here! Win or lose, every Friday night is going to be so much fun now with the new staff and all of our "pack" getting to play.

    • From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.
    • Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
    • This will get coaches leaving the profession very quickly if this kid wins this case. This is absurd...
    • yeah money aint right there anymore
