Watched the Greeneville vs. Jackson Christian game. Jackson Christian was just overmatched in this game. Man for man, Greeneville had superior speed at every position. Jackson Christian conceded the ball almost to the center line most of the game and tried to counter, but had no success. JC's keeper was outstanding though, he made at least 5 outstanding saves on really good shots.

Boyd fell to CAK in a shootout. I'm proud of our guys. They fought hard and kept CAK on their heels the majority of the game, just couldn't get another goal. Bucs scored about 15 minutes into the game, then CAK equalized right before halftime. Congrats to CAK and good luck the rest of the way.

Sounds like Boyd outplayed them for most of the game... shame it had to be settled by penalties.

As a huge supporter of both the CPA and CAK soccer teams... I am so happy for two programs who never once complained about the teams they had to play.... They just got better, and overcame the 2 headed A/AA monster. Good luck A/AA soccer... With programs like Page and Greeneville around, you're going to need it ;)

This is ABSOLUTELY true.

These programs have PROVEN that hard work, great coaching, a community buying into a common goal, and players that are passionate about their games CAN and WILL achieve greatness WITHOUT complaining.

Two great programs with incredible coaching staffs.

Good luck to both teams tomorrow.  I will be in the stands!

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
