Hoping for a good year for some high school football. This topic is for all fans of the teams in Region 3-4A and anyone else that would like to post on this. My prediction for the standings at the end of the year is:

1. Macon

2. Stone Memorial

3. LA

4. DeKalb County

5. Cumberland County

Any news on how Macon and LA looked Friday ?

MC started out kinda slow, but finished strong. Thought MC run game looked good. Passing game looked decent as well. The line is a good size. They just need to get a little more in shape.

I think MC has a much better day this upcoming Friday against Watertown.

    • Yes. I have seen that cause problems. In my last coaching stop, if a coach resigned they got them into another building. Sometimes the very next day. Welcome.
    • Agree. The man literally sacrificed time, moments, memories you can't get back with his own family for every single athlete at that school. (and many others) To those that continue to be negative about him and continue to bring him up; He's been loyal, hardworking and just his entire coaching career. Ask anyone that actually has a leg to stand on in regard to Coach.
    • Egotistical? That's a new one.  It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.

    • Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart.
