Bearden wins 93-76. I haven't been to every game, but I have been to a lot of games and that is the best that Bearden has played this season...especially the first half. Bearden has struggled to get going at times, but it only took about 2 minutes tonight. Glover and Stephney led the way with Pember, Robinson and Brown doing their part. #22 for Cleveland had to have 25-30 points.

I would be interested what Cleveland would say about comparing Bearden to the Gate City, VA team they played a few weeks ago.

All in all, two very good basketball teams that are both expecting to make the trip to Murfreesboro in about a month.

Cleveland has a good team but this just shows that that you don’t want to get into an up tempo game with Bearden, especially on their home court.

@Norman Dale that is one thing I forgot to mention. I haven't seen a team all year try to run with Bearden. Most are trying to slow it down and play half court while Bearden is trying to push the tempo. This one was up and down from the tip and a game that really suited the Bulldogs.

Who knows? These teams might play a 3rd time.

Bearden is the best team we have seen this  season, while Mac from GC is the best player we've seen this season. Cleveland really struggles with the size of Bearden and our best player has trouble shooting over Pember. Pember also rotates very well on defense affecting alot of our shots at the rim. Glover and Stephney are amazing talents. Bearden will be a tough out this post season, they have a great team.

Bearden still has one more regular game, tonight against AE. Should be another good game. To go 30-1 (16-0) for the season is pretty amazing, that's probably they're best start going into post season. It'll be interested to see how deep they can go. The scary part is the whole team will be back next year.

Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
