Linebacker had 20+ tackles, a couple of athletes made some plays, and quarterback that was in Rhea schools in middle school was slowed at times running but made big gains when needed, passed well. He was all state last year as a freshman. Actually had been in Bledsoe before Rhea system.

In all seriousness...about the same as y'all. When we went up in '05, I was taking classes at ETSU. Needless to say...I didn't come home for Thanksgiving. TNfootballfan37
Just some info about Meigs. The QB started last year as a freshman. Yes some kids did transfer from Rhea. Rhea is just across the river. The 25 seniors had very little bearing on the team. As only handful of them started. Meigs has very good depth. The QB pretty impressive. Last year seniors made up 4/5 of the offensive line, both running backs, all 3 wide receivers, 2/3 of the defensive line, 3/4 of the linebackers and defensive backs. 17 of the 22 starters. You, sir, have some big hands.
TNfootballfan37
I didn't realize that until I started thinking about it after I posted. I had a lapse in memory....I couldn't remember who all did start. Now that I think about I'm totally wrong. At any rate this Meigs team is looking pretty good. Outside Union City, Peabody, Waverly in the west and Trousdale and Marion in the east. That's about it. Chance - defined as "the occurrence and development of events in the absence of any obvious design." CA south has a chance.

lakecounty1968
In the west it will be Union City or Peabody. If I was a betting man I would take Union City to win it all. Waverly, TCA and Adamsville have a outside chance. The 2A champ will come from the west. Dont sleep on Peabody.
