pizzpatriot
Revisit this thread and the forrest one after the second round of the playoffs. It used to be the reasoning LC always got put out early is because of the inability to pass. Then people became smart and realized that they are always in a weak conference and if there was actually a good team or two, that would accound for their regular season losses. Always funny that when LC wins they make sure to call in the scores to all of the area wide TV stations. But, when they lose, nope/nada it surd isn't called in. Reminds me of the great hall of fame boxer one time. His manager carried him. Always set him up for easy fights, making sure to keep him away from real challengers. Finally, he realizes what has been taking place and admits he's actually a paper champion. The boxer that showed him the truth was named............. Clubber Lange. Vandychris
I have seen both teams play this year and have watched Spring Hill twice. For CA fans to clamor at hanging with Spring Hill, SHHS is currrently 4-4 overall and 2-2 in their region. They blew a 14-7 lead at the half last week by giving up 27 points in the 2nd half to a team that threw exactly 0 passes in the second half and had 48 rushes for the game. Congrats for hanging with a .500 team. Lewis County wins this game much easier than anyone on here is expecting. Lewis County 34 CA
Vandychris
"We hung with Spring Hill when they were rolling" They were exactly 1-0 when you played them with a 21-20 win. And losing by 17 is not hanging with them. You lost 35-18 and the game was never in question.

So your argument this week is about scores being called in to the media??? That is an outdated argument. Scores are now almost instantly updated to various sites (CoachT, unapproved website, NFHS, etc.) Very seldom are coaches or ADs required to submit scores anymore. Additionally, it was traditionally the job of the host school to submit scores for print. Can you provide some instances where scores didn't make the Tennessean in particular, or are you clamoring another imagined argument to substantiate some obsession you have with LC football?
