PEARLBALL
I think anything could happen in regionals and beyond. The physical and psychological hold Riverdale has had over the area and most of the state has evaporated over the past 12 months. There are still good basketball teams in the Boro and East of here also. Bradley and Stone Memorial will have plenty to say about it, but what was once a dream (winning a region 4 AAA game or advancing to the sub state) is now a possibility. Still plenty of growing to do for CC, but plenty of ball left to make that happen. As for FC, best focus on the future. This year is lost. I would be playing the youngsters early and often hoping to improve for ‘20-‘21.

JP has put Coffee County on the map and made them relevant. But give credit where you wish. Coach Cope has won wherever he’s been. Dekalb Co thought they knew more than he did too. That program will be right back where they were before he got there. Does Belichek have great assistant coaches? Absolutely and I have no don’t Coffee County has done very good ones as well. So let’s buy some popcorn and sit in the stands and enjoy the games shall we?
RaiderPride84
Coffee Co has only 1 assistant back from last year. 3 new assistants have joined the staff this year. They have won back 2 back district championships and have been the only district team to win a region game in 5 years. I'm pretty sure they have won 17 straight regular season district games, that is amazing btw. My son plays baseball and we didnt even make the district tournament last year lol and i was at a football game where we lost 80-6 to an Oakalnd team that our girl's basketball team beat last year. I'm so tired of everyone saying we can't beat the murfreesboro teams. Our lady raiders basketball team is 6-2 the last 3 years against district 7-aaa. So keep bashing EagleOldEyes and we will keep winning. As a proud Alumni i think we have a great staff, a great school and great players, so pull up your pants, lose some weight and keep trying to find another job. OldEagleEye
You are wrong RaiderPride, by my calculations the Lady Raiders are 7-2 against district 7-aaa lol.
LadyCavsFan
LOL. I think he is speaking of specific assistant coaches that happened to bring their daughter with them... And CC has a great chance at the beating ANY of the 7AAA teams this year. They are very solid team.
