How does everyone see this district shaking out?

1. Shelbyville - Tradition Continues

2. Coffee Co - lost only 1 starter

3. Tullahoma - district mvp returns and illegal transfer will help

4. Franklin Co - Could but won't, hard to overcome 30 fouls per game

5. Lincoln Co - well coached, not much hey in the barn.

6. Lawrence Co - Rebuilding

7. Columbia - Got mule day to look fwd to.

I think this maybe a little more accurate as far as Shelbyville goes. Coach Southern did a really good job last year without having much time with the girls at all in the summer, but she had 2 kids that were really nice players. The Holt girl could score. I don't think that she has that luxury this year, but she is a good coach and I figure will get the most out of what she has to work with. Just not sure that the talent that is there right now matches up very well with that of the other 3 top teams in the district.

1. Coffee County- 7 of top 8 returning

2. Franklin County- too many athletes not to contend

3. Shelbyville - officiating not enough to overcome loss of Holt

4. Lincoln County - young and scrappy, but Tipps worth an extra win or two

5. Tullahoma- one trick pony regardless of transfer. Coach breaks district record for ejections

6. Lawrence County - uncharacteristic of LC to be down 2 years in a row, but I don’t see much change this year

7. Columbia- enough said

I recently saw Tullahoma play at riverdale play day...they played portland who is one of the worst teams in AAA and Tullahoma won but it wasnt easy. So anyone worried about them being in consideration should not worry. I am not familiar with this district at all. Just reporting what I saw the other day....They needed more offseason practice time!!

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
