I’m newer to the area, so I went ahead and googled about this to learn more. The news said that they stopped paying after Covid shut everything down, is that accurate? 

Normally I’d be wary about stuff like this, but with so many businesses going under because of Covid, I’m thinking that it’s not quite as big of a deal as it would normally be, since they have found courts to call home. 

I personally know a few small business owners who are now out of business because of the shut-down, and it would be unfair to call their bankruptcies “crap shows”. They thought they had enough set aside to weather downturns, but this whole mess of the last 6 months is significantly different from a downturn, and insurance companies are refusing to pay Loss of Business claims.

Anyhow, I took the time to read this entire thread and found it to be interesting and informative. I would never have known the history of these clubs if not for the background information offered here. Thank you to everyone who contributed to it.
