Swarm
Fairview welcomes back old region mates the Giles County Bobcats. Long time no see Bobkitties. I'm thinking this one will be a barn burner! Somebody better check the bulbs on the scoreboard this week when we wet down the field to make sure they'll hold up!. Jacketman89
There will finally be some chatter going on. Great program and great fans down in Giles County. Glad to have them back in Fairview for some Friday Night Lights. I’d still like to see this game scheduled every year. For now though, it’s playoff football! Marshall1969
This should be a great game. Fairview is always a tough team to play. GC has a powerful Offense but Defensively they are not that good. Fairview are tough on both sides of the ball. Fairview 38 Giles Co.
BIGPURPLEMACHINE
Miss see Wise Old Man Giles on the boards. He had some classic posts on past Fairview vs Giles threads.

Maybe he'll make an appearance to talk some smack about "Franklin-Lite"
Lead
Tough for me to pick a winner in this one. I have alot of respect for both programs. Good luck to both teams in round 2.

Bachus for Giles County and James for Fairview are going to put on a show. With I could attend this one but I gotta watch my Tigers.
Jacketman89
Fairview has never gotten over the hump against Giles, I don’t think. Maybe this can be the year? The series always produced good football games. I still believe competing with Giles those few years helped in elevating our program. Like Swarm says...Iron sharpens Iron. I think we counted 23 fans on the Stratford side last night. It’ll be an awesome atmosphere in Fairview with the Bobcat Nation making the haul to fill those bleachers. To say I’m jacked about this game would be an understatement. Edited November 4, 2017 by Jacketman89

I had the privilege of talking to him on the phone once and I don't think that will be the case. Sad really. He was such a great supporter of the team. Seemed like a really good guy to me. BoardHater71
This one is going to be a battle. Both teams have solid players and are well coached. Fairview's football field has taken a butchering the last two weeks with the rain combined with all of the games having been played on it. Ol Coach Hughes and staff have came a long ways since those days. I look for it to be a back and forth game though. Like most of the last year's we were in a region together.
