York at Red Bank

York coach says his team came out flat. How in the world do you come out flat for the second round of the playoffs.

There was two things that forgot to show up last night.  Decent refs and the York football team.  Very disappointed fan here.

Ok so the the “refs” were the problem??? Please stop it they were fair and Red bank got more calls than York. Just face Red Bank was the better team last night and pulled out the win. The speed of the RB team overpowered York and everyone seen that. And the kids and fans had bad sportsmanship. It’s the playoffs if you show up “flat” you will not win.

My opinion Sequatchie was a way better team than York and they should not have been 4th seed.

Yeah ok ! The calls were fair and they were chop blocking so the call was right, if you could have won then you would have.

The refs played a role in the game and affected the score yes.  Did they cost York the game not at all.  Officials should not be a noticeable part of the game.  And I agree the speed of Red Bank was the biggest difference.  As for your other post I’m glad you thought the Squatch was better than YAI but I’ll have to say the game I watched when they played they weren’t.

Ok what calls by The refs were incorrect because “we” both got big penalties that effected the score. The score would have been higher. #5 got a pick and took it to the house for 80 yrs but it was called back for a block in the back. We didn’t complain because the calls were accurate. We y’all thought y’all had a fumble recovery and didn’t....

we had 3 fumble recoveries that wasn’t called. This was A fair game and the refs didn’t a good job that did not effect the outcome.

Did I say they affected the game in a negative way yes they did.   The fumble on the first possession of the game was not close to being down.  The personal foul before half was assessed to the wrong team.  You can’t complain about a block in the back when it’s done and right in front of the refs.   York couldn’t compete with your speed at receiver was the difference.

I don’t agree with the call the fumble cause his knees were down. The personal foul was helmet to helmet hit we all saw it. But it is what it is....

Did  I say defense was chopblocking??? No I didn’t and the refs we’re not even from the Chattanooga area they we’re picked by TSSAA. I may be a woman but I do have a bit of knowledge on what the defense and offensive does. I will not go back and forth about this game lol. It’s over and we are focusing on the next game.
