James will also play D-I at the end of the day.

That's just your opinion. Unless he's already signed I can't see that. You have a love affair with Fairview. We get it! Just don't pretend those backs are even equals. One is elite and the other is good. There is a difference. Branch would have ran for 3000 yards in Fairviews region.

You have a strong dislike for Fairview and your posts have suggested such all year.  I'm glad I have your permission to have an opinion about a kid's ability.

Oh and by the way if James plays in the first game and actually plays beyond the first half in several other games that Fairview won then yes he would have much more "glamorous" statistics as well.

I guess you neglected to mention that part.

Who cares? I'm assuming you're a grown man and can find something better to do than get on here and spew hatred about a kid and talk about his family's personal business. I've always kind of liked and respected you on here but you're making it tough lately. Give it a rest man.

He's gone above and beyond the call of duty to question the whole Darius James transfer ordeal and went as far as to call it "deceitful" in a recent comment.  He pretends to be partial instead of just coming out and admitting his view.  He even questioned Greg James when he got on here and defended his family when another poster attacked them on a public forum.

I saw all that and that's what I'm referring to. I'm not trying to stir him up and argue. He obviously has strong feelings about the situation and I can understand it. I just think there's a better way to deal with than air it out on a public forum like he's been doing recently. Like I said, I've always liked his posts and what he added to discussions within local regions. Hopefully he'll cool down and not run this thread off the rails.

I guess before he transferred he was good now he isn't.  It is a shame how a coach try to damage a kid, that has nothing to do with why he tranfered. A real man or coach wouldn't do this. but like I said before I don't play childish game if you have any thing bad to say about my son come to me and we can get this strait. Be a man and not a boy. Furthermore learn how to coach and quit using Madden plays.

I gave my opinion on a thread about a D1 kid being better than another. Why is that wrong? A PC poster said they've seen Branch and were asking about James. I gave my opinion. Sorry you feel that's hatred. Howdy jumped in. So I relied. Peyton manning in my opinion is better than the Giles qb. That hatred?

The transfer wasn't brought up by me. I just gave my thoughts on the matter and said how it looked. Never said anything else. Seems like you guys want your opinion but no one else's. Not how a message board works.

Pretty sure I said he was good. Just not as good as Branch. No offence but Branch is in my opinion better. If you want your son playing high level college ball you better learn to take criticism. By the way I never coached your son. If I did I'd ask you to stay off of this site. You can't handle the chatter.

    • From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.
    • Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
    • This will get coaches leaving the profession very quickly if this kid wins this case. This is absurd...
