All they have to do is beat Cane Ridge and a down-ish whitehaven team and there in. Both teams are very good still. But What happens in Cookeville? I don’t know. I just hope they can make it in the semifinals because I’ve not been in the midstate this season and can make it back during thanksgiving.

Let it be Known!

Then, throw in the Havenview 'Offensive Coordinator, one Mr. Mark Dodson ... yes ... he who ran for over 300 yards against Maryville in the 2012 championship game, is currently at Whitehaven assisting the coaching staff, as he helps to coach ... you guessed it ... Running Backs.

Does he have any eligibility left? :popcorneater:

He actually does have eligibility left, but his injury is one that is in his best interest to retire!!! But he has his degree... just like in high school he graduated early

LOL ... I think he was talkin' tongue-in-cheek, asking if he had any HIGH SCHOOL eligibility left.

Whitehaven's star defensive back, Rayshad Williams, pulled a signing day surprise Wednesday.

The all-state standout — who had long been committed to Vanderbilt — signed with UCLA during ceremonies at the high school.

"(Bruins coach) Chip Kelly and (assistant Paul) Rhoads kept it real with me and kept it honest," Williams said in a video that was posted on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

"They showed me what a family was like, so I had to choose what's right for me. UCLA."

Williams, a 6-foot-4, 180-pounder who began his career at Lausanne, finished the year with 64 tackles (42 solo) and six interceptions while leading the Tigers to an 11-3 record and a spot in the Class 6A semifinals.

He was named all-state in Class 6A and was a first-team all-metro selection by The Commercial Appeal.
