As this past Friday night showed, to pick a team to win is folly, as soooo many 'experts' - my thoughts included- were proven wrong....

So my posting is only to say....

Go Bulldogs! Pulling for ya all the way!

Told you Bigby we was going to try and spoil your pick. I mean we like you and all but just not enough to lose a game over. Lol. I will say this though. You missed a good one. It was as old school as you can get. Both teams took a beating.

Big  Bigby did you notice Mt Pleasant was still in the top 10? It's a dang shame y'all didn't make the playoffs. It reminded me of the old region 6-1A  when we had a 9 team region and an 8-2 record would barely get you in the playoffs. I sure was pulling for y'all to get in though.

Hey folks. Don't want to sidetrack your discussion.  Just wanted to let the Cornersville people know y'all had a great atmosphere for a game. I enjoyed seeing your town out on the field before the game. Not so much after the game. Lol. I'm all in on the Cinderella train!

Thanks Mustang69. We also enjoyed the great fans y'all brought for the long trip. I did get to go on the field after the game. Even got my old fat behind over that fence. After my jog to midfield I was more exhausted than the players I think.

Cornersville was number 1 in a very tough region this year! I’m not sure why people are still surprised that the bulldogs are still in it. I thought maybe GCA would pull an upset in rd 2 but not surprised that they beat Huntingdon. Cville got something special going on this year, especially at home, I think y’all beat LC by several Scores and go on to play SP in another barn burner.

Good luck

Surprised that this thread hasn’t gotten to more pages.

i guess the Lake County wives have the husbands getting the Thanksgiving dinner ready for Thursday.

Boys, as soon as you get done putting that casserole in the oven, we’re here to talk about the beat down you’ll be suffering Friday night.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
