Well my heart has finally restarted. What a game. Hats off to Tyner. There for a bit it looked like it was going to be a methodical tornado win when we got up 14-0. But they stayed with it and came back. 2 great plays at the end of regulation by their qb and receiver. Our defender was all over the receiver and he still made a great catch. But I am proud of our boys. We didn't get rattled and just kept doing what we do. Hope my freshman can get another one before he graduates.

The way our offense was, they only needed to be a 7-8 ... Four stops a game is all our offense needed ...

Knowing that uc is a team that pounds the ball! Trading the ball at the 10 is exactly what the tornadoes wanted!! That’s their game...I wasn’t there but listened to local uc announcers and they couldn’t explain why not go for 2? They even said when tyner scored in ot “well here goes the game” with the expectations of tyner going for 2!!! Few teams in the state stop uc from the 10!! Sideline LC coach here?

I've followed UC for past 6-7 years cause my son had to play them when he was in high school. It's not glamorous to watch them play but it has to give defensive coordinators nightmares. They run 2-3 plays and I haven't seen many teams stop them. Mayfield jumped on them early which is only way to get them out of their game. They have have a great coaching staff and every year they get a new bunch of kids to learn the system.  Several years they start slow but figure it out after a few games.  I looked like a blooming idiot working with my phone to my ear but it was worth it. Great game by two great teams. Congrats from sunshine state!!!!

One can't help but notice the body of work Coach DB is putting together.  4 Championships in what..9-10 years at UC? Holy smokes ya'll.  

Can we borrow him and the staff a season or 10?
