THIS IS THE SEVENTH POLL OF THE SEASON. 

 

Now in its 26th year, The Poll is primarily a measure of dual meet strength with some consideration to individual tournament strength.   Votes are cast by a state-wide panel of high school wrestling coaches and are based on a maximum Power Ranking of 100%.

Hmmm- McCallie loses by 16 at home to Baylor and they're still ranked ahead of them. Makes sense to me.

Baylor should be ahead of McCallie.

SD beat Bradley 27-21, SH beat Bradley 32-31, Cleveland beat Bradley 33-24 last two matches were forfeits for Bradley. Cleveland beat SD 36-25. It could be alot closer than everyone thinks. Cleveland vs Soddy in the finals. Good luck to everyone at State. It's gonna be fun to watch.

I would flip McCallie/Baylor and Blackman/Arlington. Also don’t see why we can’t get some votes for some of the best in A/AA. Honestly think Gibbs could hold their own with some of these

if not wrestling A/AA i think Gibbs is a top 12-14 team in AAA. They already got beat by Beech and smacked around by SH, I don't think they would beat Cleveland, SH, Soddy, wilson Central, Beech, Brentwood, Halls and Arlington and would have a tough time with Blackman and Heritage. I do think they would beat Oakland, Houston, and William and Blount and they smacked around Anderson County already, but they would also get beat by Bradley who isn't at the state tourney and maybe a few of the third place teams from some of the tougher regions. I do think they win the A/AA title though!
