Agree 100%. They could take a lesson from Gabe, who handled the loss with class from what I could tell. I didn’t see him cuss the refs or embarrass himself in any way. I think he realized that he should’ve just cut Borders and gone on his feet towards the end. Great kid. I hate that it ended in such a controversial manner, but 2nd place is still a heck of an accomplishment. Congratulations to him and his coaches on a great season.

Yeah. It all happened so fast. I had to go back and re watch and it’s just a really hard cal to make. No matter what the call was, someone was gonna be upset. And to hear the things those fans were saying, and telling Gabe to stay on the mat, I’m glad Gabe had some class and didn’t do what they were doing. Although I will say I never saw him shake Hunters hand. I saw Hunter try to go talk to him and shake his hand and pat him on the back when they were sorting it out. But never saw if Gabe actually obliged off of the mat

He had a CT scan and it was determined he has a bad concussion and pulled muscles in his neck, but luckily no other issues with his neck.  We have really appreciated everyone's prayers, calls and texts. He was determined to come back and get that medal.

Thats great to here. Not only a great wrestler but one of the most polite and respectful wrestlers that i have seen in a while

Glad he ended up being ok. Kid has a ton of talent and a ton of heart
