Pre-Season predictions....

1. Macon Co

2. York Institute / Upperman

4. DeKalb Co / Cannon Co

6. Livingston Academy

7. Smith Co

8. Watertown

Overall district will be better and more competitive in my opinion.

Greg Bibb new girls coach at Smith Co. will make them much better. I think Positions 4 thru 8 not alot of difference in teams. Top 3 are locks you can debate order. Huge separation between top 3 and remaining 5 teams.

Smith and Dekalb will both be muchhhhhhh improved from a year ago.

4-7 will be nasty depending on the night. I think Dekalb, Cannon, Smith, LA but it could be exactly the opposite. So much youth will be relied on at Dekalb and Smith. Smith County will also be dependent on the level of play of Alyssa West. How she responds from injury will be a key to their year imo.

You still have to have talent, sayin no better than 5th.. realistically 6th or worse.

Normally I agree , Folks in Livingston saying worse talent in over 50 years , Traditionally Dekalb and Watertown not very good , Cannon usually very good program been down for a few years to normal. With Coach Bibb Smith could slide into 4th spot , I by no means saying Smith is loaded with talent.

Got 3 good coaches in this district.  White at Macon, McWilliams at Upperman and i agree Bibb at Smith. Even with good coaching Smith won't finish any higher than 6th. Now, if we had Bibb at Dekalb we could make a run at the top.  We have Fish , but he is more of a softball coach that is going to have alot of different issues this year to deal with.  Not great in my opinion,  rather have Agee coaching our girls.

Ranking Bibb ? Hmm ,not coached "girls" at high school level and forgetting about Leslie Riddle at La?

Your  right repoman, I'm absolutely loosing it. Totally forgot about her, Riddle that u spoke about. Her and McWilliams have always been at the top. I guess this past year sunk into my head, just shows even the best coaches have to have talent.
