Pressure is on Macon it means more to their players and fans, Macon on a 15 game loosing streak to the U. Carter is the trump card, advantage Macon.

Larry White was at the Upperman/Cheatham game.  Tuesday night should be a great game.  Carter is a great player.  Upperman’s Hurst is really shining so far as well.

He is feeling the "Pressure" it is on him, he supposed to win it all this year.

They beat York by 15.  Upperman is not York!

Upperman 49, York 34

Macon 60, York 45

Same differential.  All I will say is if both those teams are 2 of the top 6 teams in the state in AA, then AA is not very good this season.

Neither knocked my eyes out.

Macon is the favorite but wouldn't shock me in the least if Upperman won.... They shouldn't but it won't surprise me if they do.

I guess AA is not very strong then! Just curious, which team team has knocked your eyes out?  Upperman held Smith to 9 points and Johnson had 0.  Those two are really great players.

I'm just saying that I didn't walk out of either game thinking "Wow, those two teams were on another level", may just be me though.

Carter is not Smith or Johnson no way you hold her to 9 points and the rest of the team is much better. Larry is also not Ms Storie not saying they will win for sure but would have to have a bad game not to

Macon has a much better coach than York.  That’s not the case with Upperman.  How many Upperman games have you watched this year?  Just the one where they beat dekalb?

    • From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.
    • Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
    • This will get coaches leaving the profession very quickly if this kid wins this case. This is absurd...
    • yeah money aint right there anymore
