The qualifications are clear, number 1 must be satisfied before number 2, number 2 before number 3 applies. All Tennessee wrestlers who want to go to Fargo must attend TWF State and South East Regionals or apply for a waiver. Again if you don't agree with these guide lines from USA WRESTLING CALL THEM... USA Wrestling6155 Lehman DriveColorado Springs, CO 80918Phone: (719) 598-8181 Personally, In my opinion, all this conversation is great; it keeps everyone current on TWF events and procedures. Besides all this conjecture, if anyone wants to get involved with the TWF, get on the Annual phone call that is always posted on here, and apply for a position. The board appreciates all the help we can get. Also, the numbers in every category show wrestling in the State of Tennessee is growing. Athlete memberships up 10% to almost 950, coaches membership up 21% at 154, officials up 38% to 13, sanctioned events up 12% to 10, and Bronze Coach education is at 65 vs Copper at 17. So we are double digits in all categories. Junior National Greco Team finished 8th at the Junior duals, first time ever. The board has worked hard to get us where we are. Last thought, in my opinion, if you do not like the fact that the TWF wants kids to go to State, or that we are following the guidelines of USA Wrestling, then you don't fundamentally understand what our job is as the TWF Board. If you have a problem with the guidelines, call USA Wrestling. While you have a representative on the phone, ask them what they think of Tennessee.
