I could see Crockett vs. Knox Central on Nov 16.    What a game that will be...

Indeed it could be Blazer. I watched a little film on Crockett last night and as I thought they do have a great QB and very good WRs. They do have one major flaw at least in the film I saw but if they can fix it, they can beat ANYONE. I’m not looking ahead though, I’m focusing on Cocke Co.

What flaw did you see? Where would this game be played at?

Every team has flaws, some teams mask them better than others. That being said DC is the most complete team i have seen so far. IMO, numbers hurt them more than anything. But them kids play till they have to be dragged off the feild.

Crockett has definitely  got some player when's the last time you saw a county school in NET with this many athletes???? They have the #1 Passer in TN according to unapproved website & two WR at  #6 & #7 in Receiving yards in  the state.  They have size and speed on the Dline with a solid  Oline as ever at DC. LBs are fast physical and can cover in also hAve pretty  capable DBs. If the D can continue  to hold people  to 14 and 21 we will be in good shape for the playoff  run. So proud of thsee guys if they lock in and really  put all their energy into this playoff run it will be a fun ride. Gotta execute!!!!!

I think Central will win each of the first 3 rounds by 20+ points. Defense is just too fast and physical. Now that Fawver and the rest of the Central offense is clicking, it makes them very hard to beat.  As for this weeks predictions-

Central over Cocke Co-   52-0

Crockett over Halls by 30+

Boone over Gibbs by 2 Td

South Doyle over TN High in a very close one. This game could go either way.

If you do not beat Cocke Co by 40+ then one of 2 things is true:

1)    You are resting your starters for the next game, or
2)    .....Actually I can't think of another reason, so let's go with #1

Well I see what your saying Blazer, but as I stated I’m focusing on Cocke Co. They are 7-3 for a reason, Defense is not the best but they can score. QB is pretty good if given time, RB runs hard and is big. We’re not overlooking anyone in the playoffs. And Stockton, I’m not putting bulletin board material on here, but yes Crockett has a flaw. But yet again, they are 10-0 for a reason. Not overlooking ANYONE.

Here is how I see R1/R2 ending up:

R1:
Crockett
Boone
Tennessee High
Cocke County

R2:
South Doyle
Knox Central
Gibbs
Knox Halls

BTW, Crockett ends up with an unthinkable 10-0 record.  Some of you R2'ers do not really know how much drama the entire Crockett community had to endure last year, so for them to put together such a season is just....   Well all I can say is a hearty congratulations to the Pioneers.  I think Crockett has a chance to win a playoff game, so perhaps R1 goes 1-3 this time against R2.

I wouldn't be surprised if region one wins  3 games.  Crockett  boone and Tenn high played each other really close.  One of them has a great chance to make it to the 4 round.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
