Man I was way off last spring.     Although Central has a way of stumbling through the season and then blowing everybody up during the playoffs.    I feel good about Crockett, Boone is iffy but I'm going to pick them only because Gibbs got waxed last week.     A couple of things to note here:

1.   Boone has NEVER beaten a Knoxville team since the school began in 1971
2.   Crockett has NEVER won a playoff game since the school began in 1971

obviously when you’re 7-3 you’re not terrible but they’ve beat absolutely no one and the good teams they’ve played they’ve got dusted. hats off to a good season for them, but that ends Friday. go bobcats!

Exactly.     Okay, I will say that Cocke Co is probably a little better than we all give them credit for.    Boone beat them a couple of weeks ago 56-34, but CC had several very UNLUCKY breaks happen to them as well.   The ball just seemed to bounce Boone's way all night and sometimes you just have to take that and roll with it.    But I still say if Central does not win by 40+ it is because they don't want to.

I would love to see but I don’t see Boone beating Central. I say a trip to Knoxville in the future for me.

We thought we were pretty good last year, Central came up to Gray and stomped us.

Word is Cole is banged up. Boone won't go far without Charlie. Do not see Boone, DC, or Tn High making it past the second round. This whole area has fared awful against Knoxville teams. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Crockett beat Gibbs Tennessee High beat Central poor Boone has never beat a Knoxville team. Cole is always banged up. Crockett is the best passing team I have seen no one can stop it.

So have you seen OR, Fulton, or Henry County play? You've stated Crockett is the best passing team you've seen. What teams have you watched to make that analysis? You're gonna be deeply disappointed when Crockett goes up against those teams. The Gold Ball will not be coming back to upper East Tn unfortunately in 5A. Only team bringing a state championship back to Northeast Tennessee is Greeneville

Most high school teams relies on running game more then passing. Again another Boone fan crying because Crockett is better then Boone lol

Nope, I'm super happy for Crockett and Daniel Boone both. I would love to see a gold ball come back to Washington County, i just know it won't. I was just making an observation of your post and asking what teams you've seen play. Your response tells me you've only seen the competition around here in the Tri-Cities.  Just trying to help you put down the Crockett Kool-Aid.
