Good for Mr Jones. I'm a firm believer every kid should spend two years in Military. Structure and discipline never hurt anyone. But I also said kids shouldn't be able to graduate from HS without a summer in hay field or tobacco patch.

Huntingdon lost 6 starters off last years team including our QB. Very talented junior class anchors this team. Offensive line will be larger but running backs though very fast are a little lite in the butt. New QB is fast and tough with good size. Needs to work on his throwing motion but should excell. Defense could be nasty. Linebackers expererienced and aggresive. Lots of team speed. I wouldn't sit on the Mustangs. May be a better team than last years!

Could really be any one of maybe 4 or 5 teams.I'm thinking LC has to get through Dresden ,and Huntingdon will contend with Cornersville and maybe Wayne Co.

I just meandered on here & read comments on the thread Dresden Lions 2018. He he.. 6 pages of mainly everything but Dresden, it's the 1A football thread. Love it. I am trying to find anywhere on the net if there is a schedule of Dresden's summer 7 on 7's and their pre-Jamboree scrimmages (if there are any). Anyone know? ..And as always, this myopic homer predicts 2018 Lions have learned from Hillcrest's upset and Dresden will go undefeated, mercy ruling everyone en route to second Gold. (Yeah, I know, ha, it's time to pile on hevy and my warped ideas.). So.. any schedules of upcoming events/games for Dresden?

Well, you know my predictions. Dresden would mercy rule top-ranked colleges if given the chance. But they all are afraid of that being a never-ending embarrassment to be beaten by a small-town football team. Ha!.. (Shoot for the stars, not the anthills) . I saw our Lion schedule for this year here on CoachT, (6 home games, 4 away, our non-region games are Westview, Scotts Hill, Obion Co., Peabody). It's a good schedule, but I still wondering about summer schedules for any 7on7's & scrimmages we may have.
