Riverdale Irrelevant

In the past, the Riverdale people would have a 10 page thread going about the loss to East Nashville, but now, only crickets from Warrior Drive.  Football must not be important to them anymore.

To be fair it didn't seem like there was that much buzz about Riverdale last year when they were pretty dang good.

Truth is, social media has hurt this website pretty good. It wouldn't take long before a topic was off the top page. Any chance Riverdale had to stay elite post Rankin was put to rest bc the previous HC only cared about 1 part of the program, and it showed over time. It's about to get real ugly when Rockvale opens next year

How will that affect the other schools in that region?

I'm curious about how the new school in Mt. Juliet will affect that team as well.

Rockvale is supposed to pull from Riverdale, Blackman, and Eagleville. So Oakland could possibly have a near stranglehold on this region going forward

If Riverdale can bounce back at home against Franklin next week, we could be having another conversation, if not chants of bring back GR or RA will be shouted, and will of course fall on deaf ears.

Win or lose, Riverdale still just won't be that good. RA is the reason why they're in this situation

I hear that the bigger draw was going to be blackman, eagleville and stewarts creek.... I spoke to the zoning office before we built and the tentative zone was vetrans pkwy to rockvale  and over towards the stewarts creek.

I'm just going off what I saw in the newspaper this past week. You could be right

Some of us are still here.  I have not commented because I did not see the game.  I am not going in any part of Nashville unless I can take care of my personal protection.  I am too old and weak for that fighting 'stuff' anymore.  What I would have to use is the old special forces fighting stuff and that injures PERMANENTLY!

Unless I can see and offer some POSITIVE suggestions, I will remain quiet.  Or like the old days, "Put up or shut up!".

This is a rebuilding year for R'dale after we lost 22 Seniors last year.  Think though of the future with us playing mostly sophmores.  RA you have destroyed a once proud machine.  I hope you are happy skippy!

Coach K, you are building from the ground up.  Weight room work HARD even now!  After that ask about the 'snake' from Coach Fields, and run them HARD!  You will not be popular, but you will wind up with a machine again.
