It has been 10 years but Oak Ridge's Lady SoccerCats took Farragut's Varsity and Junior Varsity down. I wish I would have been there.

DUDE!  And you beat Catholic 4-2!

Looking forward to our game on Saturday.  Tell Gorman to take it easy on us!

:D  Awww shucks, the Lady SoccerCats will be so overconfident you will beat them by five goals. Seriously though, the game on Saturday should be a good challenge for both teams. Best of luck to your ladies and RWR!

CPA defeated the Oak Ridge Lady SoccerCats 4 - 3. I followed the game by Tweets and it must have been a fun match to attend. Proud of the OR players and wish CPA all the best.

DC, no knock on Jeff Co and hopefully it didn't come across that way.  They have some strong players and are doing a good job with that program. But it's also the first time I can remember in all my years that they have beaten Farragut.

More just saying it's going to be tough for Farragut, as multiple other programs getting stronger (Powell, Karns) and other strong ones staying strong (Maryville, Bearden).  All programs have ebbs and flows, but for a perennial power like Farragut has been for as long as I can remember, I believe this is going to be tough sledding going forward, as most upcoming high level players are at other schools currently.  Now see how much I know when they promptly go out and beat Maryville and Bearden later this year. ;)

It was a fun match.

1-0 CPA

1-1 OR

1-2 OR

2-2

3-2 CPA

4-2 CPA

4-3 CPA

A few more minutes and OR might have tied it up!

Great to see Gorman back in the saddle.  He will get those teams ready for the post season!

Sounds like CPA took control early in the second half and ran the clock out.  My daughter's club coach always said give him a 1 goal lead in the second half and he will make the clock spin like a top.  They would boot the ball out, walk slowly on every throw in, and have the keeper wait the full time before kicking it.  That's how he won state in 2016.  He got the 1 goal lead right after half and shut down the rest of the game.

Ha ha.  Wow.  Obviously you were there and saw the incredible “top spinning” (sarcasm font needed).

So what did he do in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2015?

Note: if you are going to talk smack about someone, at least get your dates right.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
