Crockett County and Southside are the two best teams from AA in west Tennessee.  Greenfield is back to full strength and playing well but Crockett County was the better team tonight. Awesome ball game. Edie Darby is back and Greenfield is clicking now. I wish we could play Gibson County again before tournaments.

I bet that was a great game tonight! I see y’all came up short tonight, but Crockett is a great team! Greenfield will be a force in Single A!

The sleeper out of the East: Grainger County. South Greene better be ready.

I always enjoy being right—even when our SG goes down in flames. There should be a "rubber" game between the two. Home team wins. Edit: Almost forgot: The above poll should be revised next time to include Grainger. A fair warning: They are young big and have a deep bench.

We know CC is good, but can they get over that “we can’t beat Westview” mentality? I seen both play & clearly CC has the better team. We will see February 1st in Crockett!

I was at this game too. I think Grainger played as many as 9 players with only one senior on the team.  I have seen them a couple times....when they play defense they will be a tough team to contend with.  Held Wykle kid to 15 pts. and I think she had 10 or so in the 1st quarter.  Very young team.  I could see South Greene and Grainger coming out of Region 1.

South Greene lost to Greeneville last year and was knocked out of the tourney. Grainger is playing at Greeneville Friday night. Greeneville's record is average, but they lost by a point or two to Dobyns Bennett last week. Their coach will have them ready to play Grainger. If Grainger is looking too far ahead, they might get beat. Greeneville has some good veteran players. I'll try to make that game or at least listen on the radio.

7. Jackson South Side

8. Cheatham Co,

9. Westview

10. Crockett Co.

going to try and break it down by region and sectional, correct me if I am wrong cause I am guessin. (Upperman, Meigs,Cumberland County  and Macon) .only 2 of 4 can make the tournament avoidin upsets.  (East Nashville and Cheatham .) is Jackson Southside, Westview  and Crockett in same region. and South Greene by themselves on the list.

Still have that feeling? I talked to one of my Westview friends tonight and he said it looked like they've went to their tournament press and plays early this year. He said they usually save those for the tournament, but tonight looked like they broke it out early. I wished someone would give us a breakdown of the game.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
