Regardless, I saw Crockett the other day in the scrimmage, and their players haven’t gotten that much better since last year. Westview players have gotten better, and will win District 13-AA and go to state again this year.

It will be fun to watch Southside vs Westview. Still think Westview has better scoring than anyone in the region. They will be had to beat if they stay away from injuries...

they played riverside when I was there. Noted riverside didn't have much. I was just impressed with the ball movement and outside scoring ability.

Westview beat Southside by 30 tonight...believe anyone yet when they say they are the best in AA in West TN this year even with losing Graves and Jones??

Westview replaced Graves with the other big girl which may be a drop off but not a death sentence. The PG you lost IMO wasn't the same since she tore hr ACL and yow basically played without her in the Boro last year right? You guys will be tough and probably the cream of the crop around here. Crockett is talented but you don't know what team will show up.  Same with Dyersburg. The only team that will stop Westview will be Westview, IMO. We have you guys Saturday Night at GC. Should be a good one.

I heard Southside looked absolutely awful, missed a ton of shots and that Westview didnt look all that great and had a lot of turnovers.

So, if Westview doesn't turn the ball over a lot, they probably score 80 in this game? There's really no way to make a 30 point loss sound good...

Have not seen both play in official games but did see both in summer and scrimmages just before season started. Southside athletic but has trouble scoring. Westview though maybe not as strong inside as last year will score and play enough defense to win easily.

Upperman and CC play tonight if I am not mistaken. Should be a good game in the midstate.

Upperman and Meigs def top 5. GP, Westview, & East Nashville will do well this season. South Greene lost too much in their post play to be ranked. Solid guard play though. Best two PG's in AA are in the same district. Haven't seen some of the others that are ranked, but Grainger doesn't have an inside game either so not sure about them being ranked in top 5. No post presence. They live and die by guard play (PG can flat do it). Very impressive group of young talented guards. All that new coach has to do is stay out of the way (esp with no basketball coaching experience).
