So, in other words you have no basis for your allegations.   Look, Pal, I was there.  Matt wasn't fired.  He left on his own for his own reasons.  Period.

I was surprised by that decision as well. Seems like you guys are still trying to hit your stride. I guess that's to be expected this early in the season.

If you guys can quit holding on those off-tackle plays, you'll be able to gash a lot of opponents.

Yeah we definitely still working out some kinks... Fulton teams typically start slow though. I’m glad we found a win over 2 quality opponents so far. Powell will be a solid team this season.

Yea .. it needs to be cleaned up and there were some holds  ( both ways - some called and some NOT) ... I know the White hat guy ... I will just say this and I have heard it said from him at a time when he had no idea I was a former Fulton player  .. well lets just say no love lost towards the Fulton staff ..all I will say .. He threw 3 holding calls on drives when Falcons were driving moving chains ... they might have been legit ..no way I could see in the middle of those lines .. but how could he miss the jersey holds on Powell  on 3 or 4  when they were in plain view in the Powell backfield ..  anyway the Falcons will have to clean it up for sure .. penalties stopped them numerous times last night .. probably 100 yards  in penalties..  I think Powell had maybe 25  ..  but Powell is on the way back .. looked strong in OL and some quick backs  or at least #1  .. he runs hard  ..good player ..  Fulton tackled horribly ..had backs and QB  dead to right many times..  but good to know that you can not be at your best and still pull out a win ..I know they realize they will need to improve some things in the penalty area .. Fulton doesnt have the speed back they have had in past and will not score on alot of 2 and 3 play 70 yard drives  ..  theie backs are 10  - 15 yard runners  .. so sustained drives are key .. getting behind the sticks  is harder to overcome  and they had overcome that numerous times last night ...  were able too  a few times  ...  but good luck Powell ..I know you guys will be in playoffs ..should be interesting ... Central , Powell , OR , Fulton, West , South Doyle , KC  ..looks to be some quality teams from Reg 2, 3 and 4 in 5A  ...

Im sure Matt Lowe will be fine . they wont be looking to get rid of him .. he is the best Coach they ever had .... and they will be good in 2019 .. probably the class of REgion 3  - 5A ..including Fulton and OR  ... I know Falcons loose a ton of good players  and alot of skill guys ..QB, RB, WR , LB , DB  etc  ..and not alot of numbers returning -

Matt Lowe definitely wasn't fired. He took a year off and ended up at TKA.

You might be thinking of Derek Rang the following season, although he wasn't fired either. He resigned after KCS put him on extended administrative leave.

      Began as a discussion, and evolved into a trainwreck...   Don't know how many of the TC "old guard" are left, but I feel for y'all.   Everybody has to get the last word... no matter the cost and sometimes the cost is high.

      He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.

      Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
