Blaze45 nice title to the topic. I see what you did there. I hate the fact that I will miss this one. But I believe this one will be on WGNS. As far as the game this Blaze team is loooaaaded. From top to bottom. This will be a tough game. The Bulldogs will have to keep the mistakes to a minimum. But I believe they are up to the task.

Milo it is so good to see you on here my friend. I believe you are right. I expect Smyrna to come out and play mistake free ball or pretty near perfect anyway. Wish you could make here fr this one, but maybe someday we can catch one together. Heck maybe we will all luck out and LOD will join us.

I love how humble you are Blaze. You know it doesn’t matter where this one is played.. Blackman wins by 14+

I think we have a decent group. But I also know as this season goes we are picked to get in a dog fight or two and we are definitely not favored.  I also remember last year when number 3 or 4 blackman showed up at Cookeville and got whooped. So on any given friday night it can happen. I would almost guarantee somebody who should win this week, will get surprised by a team that didn't read the papers or listen to the chatter.   You fellas on the other hand this week should have a good game, but I think you beat BEECH on the edge all day long.

    • Congratulations to Coach Runyon. He seemed to do a good job when I watched his teams play. He didn't coach like he was ready to retire. With that being said... both coaching positions in the same district open... which one of these jobs is the best job and why?  also, it is a coincidence that they both leave at the same time...

    • good points. I guess the question is do the coaches need to be out of the classroom and get paid for just coaching. maybe move the coaching jobs to just coaching and no teaching. that would open up the coaching ranks to some good coaches that are not qualified to teach. Then you could do contracts and pay them whatever you want to pay them. move the positions to contracts.  Just like college. Thoughts?
    • It's not just DB, I don't think any of the NET big schools will ever be relevant in football.      Meaning in the playoffs.....
