CCBballfan
The district is Upperman's to lose. York will be second. I think Cannon will surprise some people, they should finish 4th maybe even 3rd if they can steal a couple of wins on the road

The addition of the big kid from Serbia, maturation of the sophomore class and McAlister playing again this season. Make them even better than last season. With only two senior's on the team. UpperCumberlandMan
I hear UHS added Tye nig kid from Serbia, Mr Football finalist returns, and mow a coaches som off the new TTU coaching staff. That's three goid players added to 4 returning starters, and two mote off the bench that played a lot. There 2nd 5 could be 2nd best unit in district behind their first string. How many on the roster have actually played at least their junior high years in Baxter?

Well you have 7 or 8 that this is there junior year and they have played since they were freshman. One is a senior QB on the football team he didn't play basketball last year but did his sophomore year. The have one that moved in from another country he is a senior and one that moved in to the state that is a junior. So I guess the short answer is none. Last season UHS started 4 sophomores and 1 senior. Edited November 13, 2019 by UTRok

My question is how many on the roster now actually played ball at Upperman Middle?

We lived in Baxter had a Baxter address but Prescott middle was closer to us. So my son went to Prescott. We lived a ways out Boat Dock Rd. 6 or 7 others went to Prescott. I'm pretty sure the QB did go to Upperman middle. So a city of 1400 residents needs to only have kids from there attend school when the county allows open enrollment. Some do not like a school of over 2000 students so they opt for the smaller school. If you have nice facilities and win kids tend to migrate to the school. I'm simply asking an honest question as I'm curious.

Not many that will actually play, to answer your question. Most of their players went to prescott, europe, or Missouri (tech coach kid) Edited November 14, 2019 by Alumn89

Thanks for reply.
