Greenback at Midway

Cloudland will travel if they meet Greenback in the quarterfinals. 

Cloudland if a 1 seed will be in the TOP portion of the bracket.  TOP is ODD.

  Greenback will be in the BOTTOM  portion of the bracket. BOTTOM is EVEN.  

In ODD years the top team in the UPPER bracket hosts.

In EVEN years the top team in the BOTTOM bracket will host.

UNLESS 2 teams meet that are in the SAME region. In this event the team that finished HIGHER in the region shall host.

Will the Single A  Game be on a Friday or Saturday this year?

The 1A, 3A and 5A championship games will be on Saturday this year.

2A, 4A, 6A on Thursday.  

Division II A, AA, AAA on Friday.

No problem.   They are rotating the dates backwards. If you played on Thursday last year it will be Saturday this year then Friday the next year.  Idk if they'll reset the dates after the next reclassification or not in 2 years.

Question for all to answer: Assuming we get a first round bye, what will be our biggest obstacles? Biggest challenges? Coalfield in RD 2, OS/CLand in RD 3, WHS/SP in RD 4, and more than likely HHS/CHS in state. What’s the biggest challenges you see from these teams during the playoffs? (Of course we can mercy rule all the way to the 4th and all but what do you see from these teams)

Midway could still win the region if they was to win and win out.  I've seen some strange things in Midway such as fog so thick that you couldn't see 2 feet in front of you.

It looks like Whitwell may be your only non mercy rule game, maybe.  A team just needs to be playing good come playoff time.
