URSUS
2 classifications Single A up to 1000 students Double A over 1000 students All private schools thrown back in with publics regardless of financial aid with no multiplier. Teams could choose to play up if they wanted to. 16 districts across the state for each classification with the top two teams advancing to the play offs.

No way will there be only two classifications with 16 districts if for no other reason than that would put an average of over ten teams per district. On the plus side, it will go towards making just about every game count .

QSouth89
If the Super 32 comes to fruition how will they adjust when the new West Ridge school opens up in Sullivan County. If all the students from Central, North and South attend the new school that would be roughly 2200 students at the new school. Clearly enough for this league if its a possibility. blazer1set
I would like to see one champion from each of the 95 counties, regardless of school size. Then have a 95 way playoff which would last until approximately the basketball finals. Think about it, the football and basketball finals right together, wouldn't that be cool?

That's one championship to many. Why water it down part of the way.Go back to 1938 when only one team was named state football champion in the first ever playoff.. Elizabethton.... I'll answer that question and tell you why they would never have Alcoa and only one more team crowned every year.MONEY

When I was in high school in Chicago, the IHSA had two classes in basketball A and AA. They moved to 4 classes in 2007. There were 6 classes in football. They now have 8.
