Greenville has a lot of talent coming back and will contend for another state title.

Dang man, wish we could have played the Tribe this year, they will kill us next year.     I see 5 winnable games on there for DB.    The rest are unknown, depends on how much beef everybody has returning.   Also potential coaching changes between now and then factors in as well.

Of those "5 winnable games" I say they win two of them. Five years from now if DB wins 5 games in a year we'll all consider that a successful season. I'll call it dumbing down the fan base.

I would say DB beats Tenn High and Boone just based on having better athletes and more players to rotate in and out.    Now this year TH and Boone might have won, but both teams are dropping off next year.     Also, I don't see Jeff Co and MoWest being very good next year, so there is a combined 4 wins for DB.     Science Hill could go either way, but DB won this year so 50/50 on that one.

You would think likely losses are going to be to Bearden, Farragut, Alcoa and Oak Ridge.   That leaves Hardin Valley as another tossup.     So 5-5 is still realistic.      It's going to be hard to know what everybody really has until the 2nd week of the season.

DB loses the entire backfield and just about all the OL. The leading candidate to start at QB is 5'5" and weighs about 130 soaking wet. Not sure about the defense but I think a couple of the linebackers are coming back. Doesn't matter about the defensive backs because no matter who is back there they couldn't cover my grandmother with her on a walker.

It's hard to believe a school of DB's size would be so depleted.    Of course part of that is very likely there are guys wandering the halls who could be superb athletes but they just don't want to play, I know several at Boone like that, for instance we could have an all-state tight-end or WR but the kid doesn't want to play.    Tenn High and Boone are dropping off, so there are 2 wins, but man like you say, this may be a rough 2019 for the Tribe.

DB is not glad !!! They should have grabbed North, Central and Volunteer for the next two years .

Or maybe scheduled North, Central and South.   Those schools will soon be eliminated as they merge into one.....    Or not.....  depends on if Sullivan Co can get it together.      Actually I have not heard anything in a while, maybe everything is on target for the new school

New school pushed back by another year due to delays.  Opening in 2020 at the earliest.
