Yeah - makes sense.  I mean, clapping and cheering after you've just made a defensive stop on 4th down after a long sustained drive where the other team's fans have "taunted" you for the whole drive is absolutely worse than attempted aggravated rape of a teammate.  In Putnam County, kids assigned to alternative school aren't allowed to participate in sports or any other activities at any of the three "regular" high schools.  Is that different in other places?

The issue is they never attended alternative school. They were enrolled and attended Sequatchie School and played football. This is why the principle was made to step down. Sounds all illegal to me.

Probably is since their permanent records indicated that they had to be placed in alternative school and it's the school administration's responsibility to review those when accepting new students. :-o

Since the principal at Sequatchie is on the TSSAA Board of Control, you'd think he would be very diligent about checking the records of kids transferring in who are playing sports - especially since the incident last year was widely publicized and I'm sure reviewed by the TSSAA at the time.

Why are we still posting here. Sequatchie took a loss on the field and bolddust hid in the girls bathroom all night. Dunlapians are all bark and no bite. And they won't be relevant again till 2019 after tonight. Four loss team talking smack like they are relevant lol. Your lucky you slipped by York or Signal would of already eliminated you. Come back later crying about wet fields and officiating after you get blown out.

Last time I cried was the day I was born, but I can't refute the being in the girls bathroom accusation. Shelia wants what Shelia wants, what can I say?

If Sequatchie's principal was moved to an elementary school teaching position, sounds like he ain't eligible to continue on the T$$AA Board of Control or as its vice president. :o

“Section 4. Vacancies:

Withdrawal from the teaching profession, suspension or lapse of membership of the school represented, or removal from the Athletic District represented shall immediately terminate membership on the Board of Control, and the vacancy shall be filled as provided below.”

    • Congratulations to Coach Runyon. He seemed to do a good job when I watched his teams play. He didn't coach like he was ready to retire. With that being said... both coaching positions in the same district open... which one of these jobs is the best job and why?  also, it is a coincidence that they both leave at the same time...

    • good points. I guess the question is do the coaches need to be out of the classroom and get paid for just coaching. maybe move the coaching jobs to just coaching and no teaching. that would open up the coaching ranks to some good coaches that are not qualified to teach. Then you could do contracts and pay them whatever you want to pay them. move the positions to contracts.  Just like college. Thoughts?
    • It's not just DB, I don't think any of the NET big schools will ever be relevant in football.      Meaning in the playoffs.....
