White county's schedule was way too easy to be ranked as high as they were early on.  It  was basically a AA schedule with some losing AAA times before they made it to district play.    Count the number of wins by WC vs AAA and then subtract the teams without a winning record and you will be surprised.   I am not saying they aren't good but their record didn't reflect a AAA schedule.   They are a solid team but when they started playing equally talented teams they have struggled.  I think that is because they were not tested most of the early season.   I still think they are on the same level as Cookeville/Stone but the early record was drastically inflated.  

hmm so the coolaid taste is Cookeville would have ran the table in 8 aa. Sayin a AA schedule is pretty baseless  ,What about 6aaa really not that strong of a district?

We’ll know how it all plays out after Friday. I just hope the Lady Panthers can keep the same level of focus they had against CCHS last night.

Of course you say something like that without even looking.  They played one team in 8AA.  And split with them.   If they played all the 8AA teams I wouldn’t say that was a weak schedule.   But they didn’t.  Look at the schedule then you can start your trolling.

just calling out the "AA " schedule comment is all. easy teams in all classifications.

Then you were missing the point completely.   Read my post again.  I was talking specifically about being ranked in AAA.   They were ranked as high as #10 in AAA AP poll.  I have always thought that was too high based on the schedule they played.  I would say the same thing if a AA team had more than half of their wins vs A teams instead of AA teams.   It was specific to the ranking thats all.

do agree with easy schedule, easy Christmas tournaments etc. and lack of defense ,has caught up to White County.

Yep. Won that Christmas tourney by 19 over Cookeville. We're also the ONLY team in the District to beat Stone. We have slumped lately, but if we can get back on track we're pretty strong. Losing our starting pg definitely messed up our continuity quite a bit. Good luck Warriorettes the rest of the way!!!

in which,  that game should have never been played or scheduled ,which I think now since Sparta has lost twice, actually favors Sparta in the 4th contest because they are so close ,odds are the same team can't keep winning. Never play a district or region opponent more than you have to.

Just watched an interview on herald citizen sports twitter page and Coach Gilies said that if Cookeville wins tonight the tie breaker would come down to a coin toss between White County and Rhea.  That would establish 3&4 and 1&2 would be decided by head to head record vs 3.  So if WC wins coin toss Cookeville would be #1 and if Rhea won toss Stone would win tie breaker.  Cookeville really needs this win.  The win will put Stone and White County in same bracket regardless of flip.
